Well, after drama again this week and fighting in the forums, i've decided to announce my retirement from clans in swbf. I have a baby on the way and will start school again soon working towards my master's degree. Thus i don't really feel like putting out fires on the forums at this point. I will still play occasionally and wear the tags if it's okay with the senate... which btw should hold elections or something before I leave... for that I will stay on for 2 weeks after which my retirement will be official.

Hope your retirement years treat you well, don't spend all your money in one place! You are wise to put your family first. Wish you the best with the baby and your upcoming schooling. It will be tough to say the least. There will be times when either the family life or schooling will suffer. No doubt your wife will feel neglected when you are up to your neck in hw/studying, but you both will be rewarded in the end. Just my two cents since I have gone through it myself (minus the kid, I decided to wait). Again, wish you the best and we'll see you online.

Well, I have enjoyed playing with you for the past few years Improved Klone. Its been a fun era of friends in SWBF Online. The game is dying. But the game has continued past the BF II Release and the good old guys still play. I have also had the joy of joining, being a part of and playing with 502nd clan. I understand your reasons, i will be starting school soon too so i will have even less time to devote to gaming. But in the end you will be happy. Good luck and i hope to catch you on swbf a few times throughout the hustling bustling life of being a human. Capitalism = Money gotta earn it to spend it. Or have it to spend it... GL
P.S. GL Slave i have always respected your voice in the clan. I see you are devoted to CORE thats great gl and lets still hit the pubs together once and a while.

well anyway it is very sad to see you go impk u have beeen a BIG hekp to me in this clan and i owe alot of my success to you good buddy. I hope you do well in grad school and in life. My sis tried grad school but didnt get her degree cuz of a dumb teacher. Anyway, hope you have a great tima and Congrats!! on the baby. I knew this would come some day, and frankly i dont blame you for leaving. You have done much for this clan and all of us thank you alot for it, but you are the leader of CORE so your obligations lay there. You have done what you have set out to do, and that was help the 502nd get back on their feet and get an orgaanized senate which i think most will agree has been accomplished with alot of help from you. You as well have helped me alot in the 502nd clan. Especially from our little scuffle at the beginning in which you taught me how to be more graceful, mature, and respectful. For this I thank you and wish you much luck with leading CORE ( i know you dont need it).

I would like to thank everyone for all the comments that have been written. I'm one who acts on emotions and that leads to spur of the moment decisions. All the drama lately had worn on me causing me to make the announcement retirement... but I do have more than a bit of attachment towards the clan... so would everyone be ok with me staying on with less of a central role? that wouldn't be as demanding on my schedule or metal sanity. My involvement would still be significantly less than it is now.
